Everything we wanted to say, Andrew Small

I am primarily interested in the relationship between art and design and its functions in our shared spaces,  working predominantly on site-specific projects. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with many fantastic commissioning bodies, engineers, architects, designers and communities over the last twenty-five years.

I am delighted to show a collection of projects from this period in the incomparable Egg Café gallery.

On the balcony, we are also showing a collection of works I make with my teaching colleague Fiona Stirling.

We create these pieces by exchanging ideas, workshop offcuts, found objects, demonstration outcomes, and happy accidents. Responding to our different sensibilities,  we collaborate, passing the works back and forth until we agree on the outcome.
