Stephanie Trujillo is a multidisciplinary emerging artist exploring her Peruvian-German- American heritage as an estranged person based in Liverpool through painting, collages, and spoken word. She studied fine art, art history and museum studies before switching over to social work and activism. Currently, she is completing her Social Work MA and work as a Creative Health freelancer at CVAN -NW.
She is interested in socially engaged art practices, community work, decolonisation and indigenous wisdom. She uses art to support mental health and explore themes of identity, belonging, familiar and platonic relationships, trauma and grief, and healing.
