‘My work is always evolving and currently focuses on lino prints, which I hand colour with watercolour washes.

I love exploring the way my cuts convey a sense of movement and being in the landscape. Sometimes travelling through Wirral, sometimes quietly contemplating. The contrast of strong printed marks with subdued colour has become my signature style.’

Since retiring from her career as a hospital IT analyst, Vivienne has developed her artistic skills through self-study. Her curiosity has taken her on a creative journey and has focused on three main areas: Initially textile art, then drawing and printmaking.

Vivienne is a Dot-Art artist, member of Re-View textile group and Liverpool Indie Art School print club. Regular participant in Wirral Open Studio Tour.

Our journey began with taking over the old Forber’s Greengrocers, a beloved part of the New Brighton community for 40 years. We have transformed it into a vibrant independent gallery and events space, aiming to honour its legacy while bringing new events/experiences to our community and Northwest.
