MA Graduate Residency & Exhibition Space

Following a year working with LJMU, Hope and University of Liverpool MA students, across a mix of internships, events and coproduction, we are thrilled that Independents Biennial can support free studio spaces for them at the point of graduation.

Over the summer, the space will be occupied with a mix of events.

LJMU MA Fine Art graduates are in residence at Bootle Town Hall, with Liverpool Hope University’s MA Performance, and supported by University of Liverpool’s MA Philosophy and Cultural Institutions.

This new studio gallery has opened specifically for Independents Biennial 2025, with the graduate residencies beginning in June. Event and exhibition programmes TBA.
