LOST18: Mary Delaney

Part of Liverpool Open Studios 2018. Contemporary artists and makers across 14 venues in Liverpool will open their studios to visitors on Saturday 13th October 2018 for the 3rd Liverpool Open Studios.

I am a fused glass artist and I work from my own purpose-built studio in Woolton.

My inspiration comes from nature, particularly wild flowers, landscape, sky and sea. I also create abstract designs which reflect my love of retro colour and styles. I use high quality art glass and also incorporate gold, silver and copper in my work.

My pieces are all developed from my own original designs and are individually hand made and fused in my kiln for at least 24 hours. I sell my work from my studio, at craft fairs, in galleries and shops. I also undertake commissions.
