Join artist Emmer Winder for this one-to-one screen-printing workshop, and be part of the Social Pharmacy
Since March 2020, we have all witnessed changes in ourselves, and the world around us in ways we never thought conceivable. This workshop gives you the chance to reflect and remember this uncertain time in a creative, therapeutic and socially supportive way.
This one to one workshop will give you the opportunity to work virtually with the artist in the safety of your home. The focus of the session is to discuss and create a statement generated by the participant. These words will portray a positive, personal mantra which continues to help either mentally or physically with issues caused by lockdown. These words act as a medication, which when digested as advice will bring balance, perspective and strength to others.
2 different outcomes will be produced through virtual screen printing during the session:
One practical product (t-shirt/ tote/ tea towel/ pillowcase) for the participant to keep and use.
One postcard to send to friends or relatives who needs to receive words of strength
Please indicate which product you would prefer (t-shirt, tote/tea-towel/pillowcase) upon booking.
Finally, the participants positive statement will be added to a medication label and exhibited along with others, as a showcase of constructive encouragement in the form of a social pharmacy. All words are offered as a remedy from common worries, from those who have lived and experienced them.
Each participant will receive a posted package containing the items individually produced in the workshop.
