Metal Liverpool are part of Independents Biennial Associates Programme. Their work is produced independently, but included as a unique voice alongside the festival.

Metal Liverpool have supported the festival team and artists with their development since the start of this project. Art in Liverpool has been producing the programme from their offices, and while we have been unable to use the physical space for large swathes of the last year due to COVID, we cannot express our thanks even nearly enough.

As well as organisational support, they have hosted four artists in residence while they develop projects for Independents Biennial 2020 (now 2021), as well as their wider practice.
