Matt Retallick
Matt moved to Liverpool from Manchester in October 2020. In his research residency for Independents Biennial 2021 he will explore the cultural landscape of Merseyside and ask what independence / the independent means to the people who are building culture across the region. He will invite cultural representatives who are from, live, and work in Merseyside to answer a series of questions. Their responses will be gathered here, and feed into a series of ‘essays’ brought together by Independents Biennial team. This page will function as a place to collate, but also a place to think though ideas across the length of the residency.
